About Me
Recently named as Verizon’s Everyday Hero for her ability to connect with the youth and her lifelong mission to uplift her community. Larvetta Loftin is a successful marketing authority that has effectively applied her advertising, public relations and marketing expertise for over 16 formidable years. As an executive in top agencies in Chicago’s elite marketing center, Larvetta left her posh advertising position to pursue a journey to make people, especially women, richer in spirit, purpose and pass on the tools that will provide them with self‐generated drive that can expand to no bounds.
Larvetta founded her vanguard company, L3 Eventeurs in 2000, which has launched and executed marketing campaigns for prime clients such as The 2008 Democratic National Convention, Coca Cola, Wal‐mart, and CVS Pharmacy amongst numerous others. Larvetta and L3 Eventeurs’ winning campaigns have garnered national exposure, are international in scope, and have received several prestigious awards.
While not only focusing on the public sector, Ms. Loftin also serves as a community and non‐profit cultivator. Larvetta applies her skills and experiences as a talented theatrical actress who has worked in New York City and Chicago and started the non‐profit organization, Limelight Arts Group. Through the children’s mobile theatrical arts program, Chicago’s at risk youth utilize the arts to spark imagination to break down barriers associated with self‐expression and learning through community and after‐school programming.
In 2010, Larvetta, along with other choice women of distinction were chosen to convene for a White House Project in Washington D.C. where Ms. Loftin would serve as a Leading Advocate on issues of elected office, community and the media, furthering her talent as a humanitarian.
Expanding Larvetta’s vision to unite, the Leading Ladies International movement was founded with the mission of empowering women by presenting events, access to women of common purpose and influence and providing resources that can be exchanged on a personal to global scale. This exchange of empowerment serves to expose women to look at ways to identify their most natural calling and ultimately launch themselves to achieve their personal vision and achieve it in plenty. In its second year, Leading Ladies International has been featured in
Rolling Out, Entrepreneur.com and other media outlets. She was also interviewed and featured along with 29 other women in the book called Single. Women. Entrepreneur. This leading lady has found her voice to enriching others through her experiences as a self ‐made entrepreneur.
