About Me

Compass is a personal development company committed to improving the lives of women. We believe that every woman deserves to live the life of her dreams. More important, we know that every one of us has the desire and ability to create that life. You do too. All you need is some guidance and inspiration. As for me, I have a passion for helping people and feel that I have exemplified this desire much of my adult life. I took my first mentoring position when I was 19 years old and continue to seek opportunities to encourage and inspire people to this day. I am customer orient, meaning I believe that our clients deserve the best possible experience, and I believe I have a responsibility to deliver the ICE (Ideal Client Experience)! I work and study to be better each session. I believe in life long education. We are all growing in some way, so let's grow together!

My background: I am a Compass Certified Coach. Also, I worked at Indiana University, Minority Student Affairs (5 yrs), where I advised students and student organization in Leadership development; trained in conflict resolution; lead diversity development sessions for campus and community leaders; worked with or coordinated diversity programs for African-American, Latino, Gay/Lesbian and Greek-letter organizations; organized and developed leadership development programs, workshops, seminars and local/national conferences; and led student organizations in financial management and fundraising initiatives. In Corporate America, I have led employee training sessions for Radio Shack, US Cellular, Riverside Publishing and Accenture. Currently, I am an Enterprise Test Manager with CVS/Caremark, where I lead teams in cooperative planning and testing efforts. Church/Community: I have coached youth athletics and am a mentor at my church, where I work with 6th – 8th grade members in life skill development.

In summary, I can work effectively with people from diverse age groups and social/economic backgrounds. I am keenly aware of the difference a coach can make in your life - someone did it for me!
